Allied Mobility is the UK's no. 1 vehicle conversion specialist and supplier of wheelchair accessible vehicles. They offer a range of accessible cars, MPV's and minibuses for sale, hire or through the Motability Scheme. Customers include private individuals, hospitals, schools, care homes, community transport and other public and voluntary sector organisations.
Cab Direct is the leading supplier of wheelchair accessible new and used taxis to the UK taxi market. Cab Direct specialises in the design and manufacture of a unique range of purpose built taxis with full hackney specification, including the stunning Peugeot E7T, the stylish Mercedes-Benz M8T and the economical Citroen EuroTaxiT.
In 2007, at the Southern Manufacturing & Electronics Expo (Thorpe Park), Graham Steele of Diametric struck up a conversation with the Production Manager at Allied Vehicles Ltd, who at the time had supplier issues. Details were exchanged and we were delighted when we were given the opportunity to quote on an existing injection moulded decal (E7) badge.
We were able to provide a competitive set up cost (important given Allied Vehicles Ltd had already paid this with the previous supplier) and also comparative unit cost. As a consequence of providing a cost effective solution and a good working relationship, Allied Vehicles Ltd also gave us the opportunity to quote on a new injection moulded decal (M8T) badge for the Cab Direct taxis, which we also won.
