Case Studies
Aquada
This prestigious vehicle retailing at £75,000 required only a short production run, but a finish that would endorse the vehicle's image. It was also vital to produce a resillient badging solution that could endure exposure to salt water, high speed, and extreme and suddenly changing temperatures.
For the outside of the bonnet we supplied an aluminium badge with the logo accurately embossed, assembled into an injection moulded plinth for ease of fixing, and finished with a hard Tuffcoated epoxy lacquer. Diametric's Tufflex 3D labelling process was proposed for its durability and flexibility to produce resin coated badges for the steering wheel and road wheel centres.

Triumph
Diametric were eager to accept the challenge to produce badges for the Rocket III that would accurately represent the famous Triumph logo, whilst being lightweight and resillient to high speeds and extreme weather conditions.
We needed to achieve Triumph's vision with a product that would enhance their status whilst being of a practical form, and so the process we proposed was moulded chrome plating due to its lightweight nature and the ease of fixing it to the tank. This was only the beginning of the process however, the paint chosen had to pass all of Triumph's specifications of durability while preserving a high-quality semi-gloss finish.

Raymarine
Raymarine, the world's leading manufacturer of Recreational Marine Products including navigation and radar systems, recently developed a new product, H6, which they needed to brand.
To reflect the high value of this electronic product we recommended an electroform processed nameplate offering exceptional quality of reproduction, with a combination of chrome finishes that would withstand the marine environment of salt water, sunlight, rain and extremes of temperature.
