New Range Rover's luxury interior aims to seduce fashion-conscious buyers

Land Rover's newest model features a high-quality designer interior, as the brand aims to extend its appeal to affluent, fashion-conscious car buyers.

Marketing Week reported earlier this year that the new Range Rover Evoque's interior would be designed by former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, in an attempt to attract younger, more image-aware motorists to the brand.

Spy photos of the new Evoque suggest that Land Rover has delivered on its promise, revealing a gadget-filled luxury interior that is sure to satisfy even the most fashion-hungry of buyers.

The Evoque, known as the 'baby' Range Rover' in some quarters, features a huge glass panoramic roof, a high-quality fascia panel, a large touch-screen display and a camera-aided parking system.

Car Middle East reports that the Evoque will be available in three different interior design schemes - 'Pure,' 'Prestige' and 'Dynamic'.
 
Pure combines a clean and uncomplicated interior design with neutral colours and metal brushed aluminium trim to create a contemporary but stylish feel.
 
The Prestige model has a greater focus on luxury, with extensive use of leather and extra metallic details adding an extra touch of class. Dynamic adds 20-inch wheels and unique bumpers to the mix for a sportier, more robust look.

Speaking about the new Evoque back in July, Land Rover's managing director Phil Popham told Marketing Week: "Its sporting good looks and unique qualities will open the brand to a new group of customers who might not have considered a Range Rover before."
 
The success of the Evoque remains to be seen. However, other major brands may follow suit and start making interiors the focal point of new models, should Land Rover's latest offering achieve its aim.
