Company Restructure
A business has to evolve and diametric certainly does that … most will know that Diametric started life in 1981 as a small family business originally founded by Geoff Cull. Since then the business has seen a number of owners, each keeping with the tradition of a Management Buyout.
In October 2007, Peter Knight and Tad James bought Diametric in a management buyout. Both individuals had worked for Diametric for more than 20 years and had a good understanding of the business. In 2008 Diametric moved to larger offices in Swanmore.
Graham Steele joined Diametric as Sales Account Manager in 2002 to help with the growing number of sales enquiries. Graham soon got to grips with the business by working along side Pete Knight learning the ropes. Graham was subsequently promoted to Sales Manager in 2007 and continued to work closely with Pete who then donned the title as Sales Director.
This partnership worked well together and in true ‘Diametric’ style, Pete and Tad asked Graham to become a Director of the business in March 2011. “Graham is an extremely valuable member of the team whose dedication, hard work and enthusiasm has never once faltered. His pragmatic approach and ability to roll up his sleeves to get things done has been a real strength and we are delighted to offer Graham the opportunity of Sales Director”, said Pete Knight. In the company restructure Pete is now Managing Director and Tad continues as Finance Director.
