2006 i-Pod Competition Winner

It was just over a year since we gave away our last i-Pod, this time the lucky winner was Nicholas Bensley from Foster Refrigerator UK.

Diametric have been working with Foster Refrigerator for many years now and have provided a solid service to them for their nameplate requirements across the range of their products from Cabinets and Counters, to Blast Chillers and Freezers. Sales Account Manager, Graham Steele, drove up to meet with Nicholas and present him with the i-Pod. Nicholas has been at Foster since 1989 where he worked in sales. Then, in 1998, he moved to Marketing and have been there ever since.  His main responsibilities are looking after literature, any other print, photography, exhibitions and badge design of course. After the presentation we asked Nicholas a few questions.

Q: When you received the call from Diametric to inform you that you had won the i-Pod, what was your first thought?

A: Complete disbelief followed by a rush of excitement.

Q: Who was the first person you told you had won the i-Pod?

A: Everyone else in the office.

Q: Had you considered buying an i-Pod before entering our competition?

A: I've really wanted one for the last two years.

Q: What will be the first song/album you transfer on to the i-Pod?

A: Sizzla - Black Woman and Child

Q: Who are your favourite artists?

A: Reggae is my main thing.  Right now I'm into people like Gyptian, Fanton Mojah and Cham.

Q: What was the last gig/festival you went to?

A: Nottinghill Carnival 2006

Q: Will you have to hide the i-Pod from anyone at work?

A: Yes, I am not going to let my colleagues near it.

Q: Where will you be using the i-Pod most?

A: Cycling, running, gym and the car when I start buying accessories for it.
