Our solutions

Our bespoke overlays, fascia panels and membrane kaypads can be designed and produced to incorporate a number of features that are specific to your product, including embossed keys, clear windows for LEDs and cut-outs for switches.

All of the graphic overlay solutions we produce are durable and wipe-clean (including membrane switches), so you can be sure of a quality product that is long lasting. We can design the graphic content and layout to reflect your corporate or product styles and colour schemes. You can also select the surface finish from an extensive range of textures. The surface finish will reflect the environment your product will be in and we can offer hard-wearing coatings and specific transparency and gloss levels to fit your needs.

Here are a number of features of our overlay solutions:

• Where needed, we can incorporate window areas for illuminated displays or LEDs.
• We can selectively emboss or resin dome overlays for increased physical feedback of switch areas.
• We can colour match to a majority of recognised colour systems or sample swatches.
• We have a wide range of base materials and adhesive systems to choose from.

Process

We produce overlays for most types of equipment and machinery using a wide range of materials and printing technologies. We have developed a number of overlays using base materials such as polycarbonate, polyester and vinyl. These have been used in fascia panels, control interfaces and general machine labelling for many different product areas.

We use colour matched inks that are screen-printed on to the underside of a material to achieve an image that reads correctly from the front. We can also produce surface printed lacquers or 'write-on' pads, where required. Depending on the application, a high performance adhesive and release liner is then selected to an appropriate specification and laminated to the rear. This produces a widely accepted and industry standard printed graphic or overlay panel.
